THE NEW LAND USE PERMIT APPLICATION IS NOW AVAILABLE. You DO NOT need a Land Use Permit if you are replacing shingles, windows, or siding. If you intend to change (expand or decrease) the footprint of your home, porch, deck, patio, driveway, sidewalk or accessory buildings (by installing, removing, or remodeling), you have to have a Land Use Permit granted by the Wheaton City Council.
IF YOUR PROPERTY IS PART OF THE PRAIRIE TRAILS PLAT, there are some additional Protective Covenants that must be observed.
Falk Lodge Reservations

Once a snow emergency/alert is declared (will be announced on KMRS Radio), motor vehicles (including trailers) must be removed from city streets, avenues, and alleyways within 24 hours so that the Public Works Department can plow our roadways from curb-to-curb. If your vehicle is parked or left on a city roadway or alley, your vehicle will be towed.
